I thought I had seen posts on this before, but wanted to see if there were any updates.

Does anyone know if the instrument panel LEDs on the Range Rover HSE can be repaired, or is replacement of the entire panel necessary? The dealer wants quite a premium for replacement, which is actually a reasonable amount considering it includes all the gauges. I just hate to replace the entire unit when only the LEDs are not working.

Also, once replaced, do the LEDs tend to last a while, or can I expect it to fail again in a short time?

I had my whole instrument panel replaced, after they had tried to repair, makes no sense I know but I believe that is the best result.
I recall seeing that there was someone in UK who replaced LCD panel with some good outcomes.
I have had new panel for 4 years and no issue.

Thanks Greg, I scheduled an appointment with the dealer today. I hope the good news is that this is the last item needed to get the vehicle back to 100% operating condition. I hope to get at least another 100,000 miles or so. The only reason I can now see to replace the vehicle is if they ever bring the diesel to the U.S.
