Yep, the one in the dash, lower left of the steering column behind the little plastic grill. Mine is making that annoying noise. Took the little bastard out and cleaned it with compressed air and electronics cleaner spray. It stays quiet for abit but the buzz comes back. Cleaned it out twice now.

I've been looking high and low and the only ones I can find are used, on fleabay. Does anyone have a source for a NEW one?

Do you have a part number?

 

You might try using a light oil like 3-in-1 or something like that. Get it into the bearings without hitting the fan blades. It MIGHT make it quiet for another year or more. I've saved MANY cooling motors this way.

I will say that my last resort , before continuing the search for a NEW one, was to lightly grease the fan shaft. Seems a bit quieter for the moment, but I guess time will tell.
