Question interior dome lights issue

So when I turn my key off my dome lights come on. If leave and come back, turn the engine on, the light stays on. I can control the front dome light since the switch has an off position but second row light stays on whether I depress the button beside it or let it out. I had already changed it to LED's so its not a lot of power drain but still its distracting with the lights behind it.

I wish I had the answer... same thing happens to mine. I've noticed that it's intermittent with Bertha, sometimes it's on, sometimes it's off. If it's on, it drives me insane, it it's off, I kind of wonder why..

Default interior lights

Yup, mine is too. Makes it much harder to find out what is going on, except for the fact that when it does come on it will not go off.

I had this problem before.

It was the switch on the rear door. It could be any of the door switches but that's almost surely the issue. The light just times out when you leave the truck. Then it comes on and stays on while you drive.

This happened to me before but it fix itself. I cant find the door switch anyway. I think its all activated by a computer sort of. If some lights were replaced with LED, the load might be different and it wont trigger the switch. Since this happened to me with the headlights. I replaced it with LED then it wont switch off when high beam was turned on. All 4 front lights are on when high beam switch was turned on. Could be similar effect.

The switch on the rear door is in the lock, unless I am seriously misremembering. I STUPIDLY started backing out of the auto parts place with the rear door opened. It swung wide open then shut. My light stayed on a few days then I fiddled with the rear lock (from the outside) with a screwdriver... as a monkey would do at a termite mound... and it miraculously stopped.

Thanks everyone. I will especially check out my rear door as it was messed up slightly when I got the truck and shuts but not quite right so that is probably it.

Shut the rear door - that's wonderful! Soon you'll be done with this project and onto the next!!!! I'll have to take a looksee at my locking mechanism to see if it's the culprit with mine.
