Default Interior Fuse Box

I have traced a random electrical issue to the internal fuse box, which is good news since I now know what needs to be replaced.

I have no clue how to get the damm thing out without taking the dash off and I really really really don't want to do that!!

Has anybody figured out to to replace the interior fuse box without taking the dash off?

There is a 6 pack of your favorite beer in it for you :-) (yes that is how much I don't want to take the dash apart!)

if I remember there is a 1 or 2-10mm nuts at the bottom and the top has a plastic nub that fits in a hole.

the hard part is getting the electrical conectors unclipped. Twist the box at different angles to get to them. It seems impossible, but once you get it you will be laughing.

I think its similar to the fuse box holder at the engine bay. The base stays and only the fuse receptacle comes off. The problem sometimes is that the interface between the two get messed up and you have to unplug the harness and replace the entire fuse box. Like Abran mentioned how to unbolt the unit.

I got it unbolted, but just couldn't get it out... and I am sure that I will be laughing because it did seem impossible!

So a twistin and a turnin is what is on my schedule tonight.

I used to think it was impossible and would cut the harness on parts cars, but its not impossible. You will get it!
