Probably right Jason, you'll just need to add an iStreamer into your system to convert the signal to analog.

So this is an awesome mod to the dash. Do YO have completed pictures and the big question. did you take notes, pictures and make a diagram of how you wired everything in and where? and do you have the parts list of everything involved. other than that. how was the play Mr. Lincoln?

I put the 2013 Nexus 7 in my car in case anyone comes across this... that particular device has a very special program written for it for use in vehicles and it's free!!!!! It keeps it in an ultra-lower power state when off and turns on/off with the ignition. I've used it a few years now and it's great. It's a custom ROM so while it can run any normal tablet apps, its main homescreen would have you thinking it's a factory option, even the boot up screen will show "Land Rover" logo in this case and it's incredibly easy to customize. I have my ODBII info built into it as well as navigation and backup camera, even my tuning software.

I was hoping someone had fit one into the Disco 2....... it could be me.

If you use a powerful Power Bank your problem will be solved. You can keep the IPad in the car forever, just remember to recharge the device!

Is this really a possibility? The head unit I have in my 03 has the ability to control CC and I was wondering how to make that happen. This might be something fun to figure out.

Cool but why not just get a top end stereo with Apple Car Play? Saves you a ton of work
