issue with a ton of noise coming from door
on my passenger rear door there is a TON of noise coming in from what sounds like the mid to lower portion of the door. on dry roads its not too bad, but on wet or slushy roads it sounds like the windows are rolled down. thats how much noise is coming in. and when you open the doors there is sand and water from the roads in the rubber seals and past them. none of the seals are ripped or torn. do they just get flat and not seal against the elements over time or what?
or is there some way to adjust the door to close tighter on the seals?
what say you?

Hmmm you know... I hear that on mine too.
The way i fix it is, there is a **** on the dash to the right of the steering wheel, I believe it's called VOL, I give that a few cranks and its like the sounds isn't even there!!
But seriously, I rode in a friends disco just the other day and he had the exact same sound. I dont know if its a seal issue or what... But Mike or Spike may have a say on this... I'll be watching for answer.

Same door, same noise, same conditions (wet roads as opposed to dry) as sloppyjoe. Seal is good, I've never noticed any sand and such in there though. Mine isn't here right now, wife is out; is there a way to move the latch hook in that will force the door to draw tighter when it closes?
Also, not to threadjack the post, but I've been meaning to ask Spike, when you are delivering packages do you ever "lose" any that say atlantic british or the like on them?

We do deliver all kinds of stuff, everything from car fenders to tires to rims to tires on rims, springs, leaf and coil, you name it I have probally delivered it.
As for adjusting the door, the stricker on a DI is adjustable, I had to adjust one of my rear doors, you can loosen the hinges at the door jamb and move the door up or down.
This can be tricky, so make sure that trace the hinges with a paint pen before you start making adjustments so that you can go back to the default loacation.
