Issues with my blinkers and headlights
I have a 2000 Discovery II and I love it. It's a versatile vehicle, great for camping or hauling crap around, and it's fun as hell to drive. And I got it for dirt cheap.
I have a few problems going on with the car that I'd like some advice on!
SRS - the SRS light comes on intermittently. It's not on all the time. I'm going to try to add some dielectric grease to seat sensors and see what happens.
Headlights - a few things.
1. Intermittent problem where when I turn on my headlights, the hi beams will show as on, even when I toggle high beams the indicator stays on. But my headlights don't shine at all, only one of my running lights. So this kind of ****s my headlights at night. Usually after I drive for a few minutes, this fixes itself. Tried replacing a few fuses in the fuse box to no avail. I'm going to try to grease all of the connections, maybe that will help. Any other advice is welcome!
2. The front right blinker had filled 1/2 with orange juice (rain dyed with the orange plastic of the housing lol) Obviously the front right blinker doesn't work. This doesn't seem to have shorted my fuse, because the rear right and side blinkers still work fine.
So I bought this blinker:
It looks just like the factory one I had installed, except not full of rainwater.
I also have to replace the bulb, but I don't know what bulb should go in there. Edit: I ordered a 12v P21W and a 12v 5W5, let's see if those work.
Thanks all and I'm happy to be part of the forum

This sounds like your problem. Ultimately found to be burned connectors to the headlamps.
