Replacing my CPS. I got the shield off, and in the front, at the smaller cylindrical area, there is a hole. I assume this hole should not be there and was caused by something thrown up from the road. Can't seem to find a new one. Thoughts?

Epoxy, GE 50 Year Silicon, Liquid Metal of some sort. There are all sorts of products on the wall at AutoZone that should do the trick.

Thought about that. I ordered one from Paul Grant for ten bucks. Figured it was better to have a solid one. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, for 10 bucks, that was a much better choice. Especially with all the issues of that little sucker. I'd be half tempted to silicon it even still to really seal it away from water ingress when I finally need to change mine.
