Default Jack Points for Hi Lift on Disco II

I have an ARB winch bar (model 3432120) on my 03 Disco II and was wondering if it is safe to use a Hi lift on it. My concern is jacking up all that weight on the crush cans that work with the air bag system. I know the bumper is air bag approved but just dont want to screw anything up if the are not designed to be lifted from the bumper. Lastly, do any of you guys use a hi-lift on the rear without a steel bumper. If so, how? Using the tow bar receiver?

Based on that bumpers mounting design, it is very week and I would not suggest you try and lift it.

Dang, this is why I always recommend 3432060 to people with a DII. That way you can pick up this kit: ARB HI-LIFT JACK MOUNT, 3500040 - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North

AND you can be recovered.

If you're trying to lift from the back, shove it into the receiver and start lifting. Problem is if you get the tires up you have something awfully unstable.

This would probably work for the 03-04 style:

Hi-Lift Bumper Lift (BL-250) - Equip Your Jack to Lift Curved Bumpers | Hi Lift Jack Company

Nice, I haven't seen that before. That would likely work at least for the front.
