So yesterday I decided to hit the yard after work. They had two rovers in and I said what the heck...

So the white one was hit in the front, had a brush guard on it but was destroyed. Not to much else...

The tan 99 however...terrafirma shocks on all four corners and on the steering dampener. I noticed the brand new bolts on the rear drive shaft rubber coupler so I grabbed that, hoses and plastic lines in the engine bay were very close to being new, they still have the tape with the land rover part number tags on them...grabbed those.

Someone appears to have done the headliner. There were brand new gaskets in the front seat, grabbed those.

Brand new bleeder T, grabbed that...

And then I walked to the rear and someone had taken 1 of the taillights. The other was cracked.
Then I thought, wonder what happened to the bumper cover it's not here either.

Wait.

There is no bumper cover on the back...because.

There's a damn steel bumper on it.

Get out my price sheet...$33. Yea, I'll take that.

Grabbed some more little goodies throw it all on my toolbox, shoulders, and haul it down..

Total, $55.37.

God I love the yards.

I did leave all the terrafirma shocks on the truck. They are still on it if anyone is interested. I have brand new on mine and these looked slightly used.

Which yard? I'm in the SE PA area and might take a trip for the shocks.

Dont you take cdl off of the lesser years and add it to the latter year?

Pic of the bumper. Putting it on tonight.

Does anyone know if the same style front bumper will work with a brush guard?

I was thinking of buying one and modifying the brush guard.

I'm really shocked it wasnt taken. The rover was obviously picked somewhat before I got there because there are parts laying all over the ground. The one rear taillight wa missing. Tires and rims are gone. I had to do a double take because I didnt even notice it right away.

There's an '04 at the LKQ in Charlotte that still had the transfer case shifter in it last Tuesday. I went to get the alternator and some seat switches. There was a guy there at the same time I was getting more stuff off it, but he and I both already had '04 t-case shifters. If I'd had more time and more inclination I might've pulled the shifter to resell, but it wasn't worth it to me at the time.

I note though Jeff, Charlotte is kind of a long drive from where you are!
