Default Just plus sized my tires to 255/70/16 love the look

My old stock tires were 255/65/16 mich and always looked a little too short. This last go round I went a little taller thanks to the sticky on this site. 255/70 is a little taller but same width.

What a change in looks and feel. The wheel wells are not so empty looking now. I opted for the Hankook Dynapro ATM. I like the tread pattern.....it's aggressive but not too bad getting down the road at 70 mph.

If it helps this is the link

Running 255/70/16's on my 02 SD also. Seems like the perfect size if you are not wanting a lift. I went with Cooper Discoverer ATR. It does help get some meat in the wheel wells.

Looking at some 255/70/16 BFGs as my next set. I have the coopers on there now tex, those are really good tires. They came with the truck. Only have about 15k miles left on them.

My wifes SE has 255/65/16 BFG Long Trails on it, and I have to say they are great. It really does not get into anything more than a rough ranch road and they perform great, and they are so quiet on the road.

Yeah at the moment the wife drives it more than me. I want the Mud Terrain KM2s, but I will prob go with the Long Trails to give her a smoother street ride. hehe we will see...

going from 65 to 70 how much higher will that lift the truck? 1/4-1/2 inch? I have to be careful, my garage is only 7 feet....I don't have a lot of room to grow...don't want the wife to pull out with the rear sunroof open and take it off! lol!

I gained an inch when I went from a 255/65/16 to a 255/70/16. 29 vs 30.
