I hope that works for you. For me, stock tires are too small at stock ride height, let alone lifted.

Yes, easiest solution to that dilemma is multiple discos. One with the lift and big tires and one stock ride height with stock tires for Street driving

I was going to make a similar comment, but you beat me to it. Yeah, an old Disco II and an old Allroad that seems like a lot of adventures and tons of excitment, non-stop almost.

hahahah well the Allroad is pretty mint, i've added 50,000KM this year with zero issues. Its beautiful cruiser for long drives and its the B9 so only one 6 years old. That being said I am highly skeptical about selling our third car since buying the disco lol...this pig better be worth it.

I love the D2, they have unique geometry (short wheel base, V8 engine and good towing capacity), I was able to mount 2020+ Land Rover Defender wheels and tires on my old Disco II, they are 32" stock on the new Defenders, the Disco drives just fine on them, I have a 2" lift, nothing rubs anywhere, zero issues, and I have not noticed significant fuel economy change; however, I take it easy in the city, not trying to be the first guy off an intersection. The Disco can easily be used for towing boats and various trailers, I have towed boats up to about 32'-33' long (bow riders, not cabin cruisers), basically several thousand pounds plus the trailer. The short wheel base makes it easier to park/manoeuver trailers in confined spaces. In-line thermostat in an aluminum housing is a must. Non-negotiable. Always check your antifreeze level, and oil level. These trucks like attention.
