Default just a suggestion

Just put som E-3 spark plugs in, bye the way really worth the money, had them in my jeep and really felt a difference. So I was looking at my wires and dredding replacing them, just a thought, move the coils out, to where they would be easer to get to, I'm sure all you would have to do is fab up a braket or even cut the O.E.M one and lengthen the coil wires, then you can buy a spark plug wire kit that you make up, this way you will never have to take the hole top half of the motor off. Then I understand that these engins leak at the oil pan and the front engine cover and valve covers, the bottom line is that it cant be the engine or covers, it has to be the gaskets, I bet if a good quilty liquid gasket was used this would help.Sorry to bring up that dirty word, but my Jeep use to leak at these places, I used the liquid gasgets torx every nut and bolt in the proper series and never had a problem!

Just out of curiosity, when you used the liquid gaskets do you also use the regular gaskets?

No I dont.make sure u follow the directions, if I remember right, I'm sure different brands will be different, you squez a even amount, about a quarter thick, tighten the bolts fingur tight, let site for an hour, then torx, them in the proper series which would useally be from center out then you should let it set for 12 hours then fill, I have filled it right away, and no leaks.next oil change I will do this. I had a few oil leaks in my disco,I tightened the valve covers and oil pan bolts, then did a oil change with 5w/30 Valvoline synthetic, and P X3 synthetic oil additive and she runs really smooth, also I did a coolant flush and added watter weter, the difference is amazing.I know others will say I shouldnt of done this, I should only use the oil the manufacture uses, but the proof is in the pudding, running quiter, smoother and cooler.I mean 3o degrees cooler.Soon I will get rid of my mechenical fan and replace it with a electric fan and that will add some good power and drop the temp down even further along with some hood vents.I did this stuff with my jeep and it worked really well, so there is no reason why it shouldnt work for the rovers! Also get rid ofthe resonater and get a good flow master muffler, that will give u a cooler temp an less back pressure which will help w oil leaks .

Good to hear that you have had good results with Water Wetter. I recently flushed my cooling system and was thinking about adding some Water Wetter.

before I used it, if you look at the temp guage where the little icon is, my level was just above the second vertical line, know it is below the first line.

Well I feel the differance, I also see the differance on the temp guage. I did this stuff to my jeep and nothing but positive, so I am sharing my opinion, I am not out to sell anything, take it or leave it, I just hope that I can help.If somthing bad was to happen to my Land rover I would share it with every one, so my sugestion before doing this to your Rovers is to wait for a few months hit me up and ask how my truck is running.I feel that the bottom line is a engine is a engine, English or American,I watch POWER BLOCK T.V. they tested the E-3 spark plugs , watter wetter, and the Px 3 oil additive on the dyno and got good results.

You need to have concrete evidence in order to post your claims on this forum.

so you are telling me that I need concrete evidence to post every thing I post, even though I am telling every one that its just a sugestion and an opionion, I dont under stand how any one can post any thing. An opinion is a opinion, just like when I was having issues with my horns, no one had concrete proof, It was there opionion.I would under stand your point if I was trying to sell a product on my behalf or tring to sell this stuff and telling you all to buy it through me. All I can say is watch or look up power block T.V on spike and make up your own minds as to what you are willing to risk to do to your Land Rover. We are all adults and can make up our own minds.Like I said I am trying to help!
