Default keeping that rear door open!

so some d2 owners would have experienced this... you find a nice spot where to camp or have a nice cup of something while enjoying the view. you park, start unloading stuff or even use the bumper as a working top for your stove, but there is a slight incline, which you have not noticed and the rear door keeps on closing on you.... sometimes even quite dangerously

anyone found a practical solution to this?

I wonder if you need to replace the check strap

I havent experienced this myself but would anticipate a properly cut piece of 2x4 as a stop would work.
