Key fob Update

Key fob Update
So my 99 Disco 2 came with 2 key fobs. The one on the right locks, but it won't unlock. It looks like the unlock button is missing. The one on the left does not function at all. This is the first time I've tried since I purchased the car as its just been mostly a ranch car. Any suggestions on possibly getting the semi functional one to unlock? I know it seems totally out of the question as far as I can see but I have learned a lot from this forum and maybe there is something there? Anyways, thanks in advance.
Tom
Update: I put a paperclip to the both solder points where the missing unlock button is on the semi operable fob. It unlocks the car! So I ordered a complete $28 Key fob from eBay and will see if I can unsolder the button that is needed and re-solder to the working fob.It won't arrive for a couple weeks.

yes you are missing buttons on both boards. gently clean the boards with a dry tooth brush. get new key cases off ebay (like 7$ each or so). get new buttons :
search for
on ebay or amazon. solder in x4 new buttons CAREFULLY! with a micro-tip iron. Don;t mess up the solder joints on the nearby chips or break the traces......
the left fob may or may not be programmed to your BCU as it is a newer board.....
here is a pic of what boards should look like:
