I've got a fun little quirk on my 04. When I open my driver's door my key in the ignition chime goes off. Even if the key isn't in it. I've lubed the lock cylinder many times. I've got no binding. No mechanical issues whatsoever w the key or cylinder. I assume it's got a contact stuck upwards and not breaking the circuit once the key is out. I'm very much trying to avoid having to change the cylinder out. I also don't want to just pull the plug on the chime speaker. I like when everything works as it should. Anyone run into this maybe have a neat little trick?
