Key will not turn in ingnition

Well the OP works long days. Today is my last day before it is towed. I am out here now working on it. I believe I see the two large rivets or blank screw or whatever but I'm not sure about the ignition connection you are referring to. Is it the one on the left side of the ignition? If so, I think I see the two screws and can pull them out without taking the rivet screws out. Am I looking at the wrong one?

So guess what... It worked! I probably chiseled too much because I was thinking I was going to have to get some force to get those screws to turn but once I put the screwdriver in and tapped it a bit, they were super easy. Not sure what it was, but after I pulled the ignition out the key still would not turn. I pulled the back connector out and the key turned with no problems. Put the connector back in and still no problems. Thanks abran for the perfect guide. Now on to the A/C and driveshaft!

HAHAHA! My ignition is the same way! Until now. VALET proof. Anyway, I like it like that since nobody knows how it works except me. On the other hand, I hope that is the same problem as the poster.
