Default Which Keyfob frequency?

I have never had a keyfob for keyless entry, after fixing alot of the major issues on the truck I am getting down to the nitpick stuff. I have a D1 and am looking to buy a keyfob but how do I know what frequency my truck is compatible with? Is there a code on the ECU or? Thanks!

its 315mhz. its a rolling code sequence on a 96, i dont know how well a aftermarket remote will work, as factory remotes need to be learned to the bcu.

Make sure whether your's is a (1) button or (2) button remote.

The (1) button you can program, the (2) button the dealer has to program (he can do 2 remotes at a time)

luck,greg
