or replace the ignition switch (if you dont have a key), it will probably be about the same price to buy one, if you can figure out how to replace it yourself.
as for the fob goes, I always suggest an aftermarket system. Equivalent if not better security protection and range for less money! the entry level Viper 350HV is on average around $200 - $230 installed (Viper is one of the top aftermarket security brands, there are many good ones cheaper). And you can find one (they are all over the net) for around $100 or less even just to buy the system, they are not to bad to install yourself if you have a little idea of what you are doing. I can help if you need it.

What DiscoMike said is absolutely "key" (he he): you HAVE to have the bar codes for the FOBs to be able to be programmed.
And most indy shops can do that for you, if they have the factory Testbook or a BlackBox scanner. But they have to have the codes!!
As an FYI, the factory keys are steel, and can't be cut by most lock shops (at least cut well) since most of them are set up for doing the much more common brass keys. Takes a different cutting wheel, and some skill to get it right.
And if you go to the dealer, buy a new key+fob setup, and take it somewhere else to get cut, and they screw it up?? You can NOT buy just the key part.
This is for the Disco II combo fob-and-key in one package setup. For the Disco I with the separate FOB, it's different -- programming the FOB is much easier.
