Default Knock sensor fix

Has anyone tried this as a fix for a wire broken off at the connector?

DAAAAAAAMN!!!! $45!!!!!!
I haven't done it but that looks like the correct one. I remember reading that you have to be mindful of the shielding around the 2 wires.

I’m going to avoid the coaxial cable at all cost. I have enough of the two wires to splice to. I tried to rebuild the broken plug last night, but no dice.

I have one of those plugs if you want one......I had to replace my engine wiring harness and I still have the old one.

PM me if you want me to cut off the connector with a good amount of wire so you can spice it into yours.
