The day I got to Korea I kept seeing these trucks and doing a double-take because I thought it was a Disco, but no it was merely a Hyundai "Galloper". They look just like Discos, only a little smaller. Here's some pics:
Any SUV that is anywhere capable of doing what a SUV was originally designed for is square and boxy and shaped like a brick and looks like it tops out at 52mph and it even looks like it gets 6mpg.
Look around, all the Montero's, Troopers, Defenders, Disco's, Land Cruiser's, Nissan Patrol's...all are shaped like bricks.
Thats because thats what works in the woods, tall narrow trucks with flat sides to fit into small places, tall for cargo room, lots of flat glass so there is little glare and easy to see every corner of the truck.
And do not discount Hyundai's are cheap crap, they outlast Ford's and Chevy's and they are the number one ship builder in the world.

Wonder how well that works since Honda prides itslef so much on their vehicles and reliablity aside from the Passport?

The Honda cross road is totally the same truck as a Disco underneath right? I wonder if you can still get those serviced through Honda or not.

The ONLY thing different is the badging.
Think of it like this...the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable and the exact same car just different names.
Honda Crossroad and Land Rover Discovery are the same.
