Default Land Rover Discovery II Power Steering fluid leak

Hi, I have an 03 Disco II that just started leaking PS fluid. I have read the past threads about the pump, and box leaking, and repairing the pump, etc. A mechanic that I know, not LR, looked at it and thought that it is the high pressure hose, not the pump. However there is fluid everywhere. He said I needed to take the bumper off to get to the hose or replace it. Is that true? Is there a step by step method of replacing the pump and high pressure hose that I can read? Do I have to use the factory hose? Where do I loosten the serpentine belt? Thanks for your help.
