Power steering fluid in steering gearbox???
Yeah that's what i said...
My friend has a 95 RRC and started having a power steering leak. Not knowing any better he bought "power steering fluid" and not ATF.... he's been running it for who knows how long and after my brief inspection, i think he has to replace some seals...

Well, flush and replace the fluid ASAP, if they haven't already. Repair the seals if they are leaking a lot (they always leak a little). Yeah, my eyebrow raised when I saw "ATF Dexron III" in the Rave Manual for the power steering. The power steering fluid might react with the ATF or, it might not. In either case flushing it out as good as possible would be very beneficial and might save the pump.
