Default Land Rover driving school

Has anyone been to these classes? My brothers and I are considering signing up for a class at their Carmel, CA location. Should be very educational and informative. Curious to hear your opinions.

I ran Jeep tours for years back in the day, so I'm not so sure. Offroad driving is a common sense thing. I have seen videos of the driving experience and thought it was quite funny. I encountered a Land Rover adventure on Black Bear pass some years ago. We were on our way over the pass to have lunch in Telluride. It is a very mild pass in my opinion. Finally, the group leader let us through after painfully driving behind them for what seems like forever. The were stopping and spotting each other for every small rock. I would consider it a complete waste of time. I could have driven that pass in a toyota pickup without the hubs locked in without stopping.

We have one here in Asheville NC and I hear nothing but good things about it. That being said, it is VERY simple stuff the teach you. If you are new to offroading or want to learn about some of the features of the car its a neat way to do it... if you're willing to pay a nice chunk of change. I'm not even sure if you're allow you to use your own vehicle, so if you own a disco you wont be able to use it. I've only seen them use LR3's and Range Rover's (Owned by them).

I'm sorry. Didn't mean to downgrade your idea. I'm sure it is quite a bit of fun. Maybe think of going on a trip with your local 4x4 club of any type. It will be free, informative, and entertaining.

No need to apologize, going with a local 4x4 club is a great idea, not to mention probably little cost to free.

Oh yes, and you get to bring your disco.
Money in your pocket, and experience in YOUR truck.
Cant beat that.
