Default Fog / Driving Lights..school me.

O.K. So I have my new Land Rover Lamp bar installed, but I have yet to purchase fog lamps. My old brush bar fell completely apart so I decided all I wanted was a nice light bar. I removed the old fogs, which are fine, but I kind of want new ones too. Also, the old lights are bar mount and the new light bar only accepts post mounted lights. I was looking at Safari 5000's, but the price is a bit high. I was wondering if there are any aftermarket lights that are comparable? I would like them about the same size and to have the guards. I am not afraid of the wiring but I do not want to pullout the existing land rover aftermarket lighting wiring set-up. Pic of fogs mounted would be great.

By the way I have the old lights up for sale on Flea Bay:

Thanks,

Mike

I own hella 500's,1000's,2000's and 4000's. I like them all for different reasons. They are well made and parts are available. I have a set of IPF dual filament lights that are great also. Hope it helps...

So which do you want, fog lights yellowish or driving light, white? Standard up to 100 watts or HID's?

Hi Mike,
I would want the white driving lights I guess. I am also thinking about buying a roof rack later and want to use the same lights for that. I looked up Hella 500's and I like those. I don't think I need HID's, standard will be fine. The truck will have some off road use, but nothing to extreme. Something that can light up a beach for surf casting at night would be great.

Also check out the PIAA 520 ATP lights. I just ordered a set for my bumper. A freind has them on his Jeep and I really liked the beam pattern. I plan on adding 4 more on my rack to help light up th beach for late night fishing and exploration.

Just checked the PIAA 520 ATP out, I like them! They have the stone guards too, which is what I am looking for. Thank for the suggestion.
