Default Land Rovers are easy to work on

I know it is so because I read it on the internet and craigslist. See for yourself. It's so easy his contractor works on it, not a mechanic.

Land Rover Discovery Series 2 1999

But seriously I'm in the process of changing out my wife's catalytic converters on her FWD Hyundai Tucson. In order to do this you have to remove the Plenum and Radiator and drop the A/C compressor and a hell of a lot of other things. I will never ever complain about working on my Disco again.

Peace!

It's one of the things I absolutely love about my Disco.

Which is a good thing, because it keeps me busy!

They have to be easy to work on, because you will be doing it all the time!

I think I need to adjust my hoses too. I haven't done that yet. What's the spec again?

Disconnecting the transmission harness keeps a D2 from starting? Didn't know that...
The key is to order parts from Advance Auto
Guess it doesn't stay in Park. Does it come with those patio blocks?

Hilarious, thanks for the post! No harm intended using the name Larry below, it just fits in with what I was thinking as I read the Craigslist ad:

Larry's Lawn, Leaf, & Land Rover service... less the Lectrical...

Top notch cooling system... with no coolant or bleeder valve (pic 6 and 7)

Anyone else surprised the dealer tire cover lasted longer than the car??? :O
