Hello Gents-
Thanks for everyone's great input to this forum.
Among various other issues with my D2, I have a leaky brake Master Cylinder. I need to either replace the entire assembly (seen them for about $180-$250) or get a repair kit (seen them for about $75-$85).
Does anyone here have experience/opinions about either approach? Some folks don't recommend seal-repair kits.
Is there any trick to replacing the master cylinder?
Lastly, a mechanic suggested that I replace the Brake Servo Assembly, as (part of?) the reason that the engine runs rough (hesitates when gas pedal applied) and related to my squishy brakes (which I think is simply function of leaking master cyl and air in the brake lines) -- Has anyone here experience/opinions about replacing the Brake Servo Assembly?
Thanks,
SolAeon
