Default Leather dye - PHENOMENAL results

Starting to focus on the interior now.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have found some driver and passenger seat backs and passenger seat bottoms in really good condition at local pick and pulls. Had the plastic “rails” on the bottoms replaced by a local shop.

I ordered an Alpaca re-coloring kit from Leather Magic and used it on the spare driver’s seat yesterday. I am blown away by the results. Just wished I had taken before pics. I’ll do the passenger seat in the next few weeks and will post score and afters.

That DOES look great.

One question. Every time I've seen re-dyed seats, the little holes / perforations seem to be a little (or a lot) filled in. Curious how you did it so that this wasn't an issue with yours. They look perfect.

Many light coats. At first it looked really blotchy, but it kept getting better with each pass. The key is to keep them light.

I’m changing to black. Been wondering if that dye would work for that

Did the passenger seat over the weekend. It was actually in better shape than the driver side to begin with.
