Default leather seat repair kit

Hey guys. the discovery im getting has cracked leather seats and a large(4 inch) rip on the passenger seat. i wanted to get a leather repair kit for it. does anyone have any experience with these, if so do they work? the interior is tan.

can somebody with 96 tan leather seats tell me what color matches best out of these http://www.leatherrepairkits.com/repair_kit.shtml I dont have the car yet so I cant tell. thanks

My 97 has the same color and had a 1" tear in the drivers seat. I remove the cover and backed the tear with Gorilia Tape and went to Home Depot and found a Laminate silicone color Terra Rocca . Filled the underside of the tear about 1/4" between the tape a the leather backing and filled the tear and placed a teflon strip with a weight over night . The color matched perfect and still holding and flexable.

Total cost $4
