Ignition Coil
I have a 94 DI. Recently it decided not to start. After checking, it turned out to be a bad ignition coil.
I would like to ask you gentlemen and ladies which of these coils you think is better:
1. Lucas "regular" $25 to $50 at different vendors
2. Lucas "high output" $73 at motorcars ltd
3. Bosch "regular" $73 to $100 at different vendors
4. Crane Cams PS20 "performance" $40 special order at Advance Auto Parts
there are others (duralast, etc.) but they are more expensive.
Does anyone know of another (good) one that is not too expensive?
Thanks
Alfredo

It turns out that the real issue was a cracked rubber cover to the connector to the ignition "amplifier". Coolant got in it when I replaced the top radiator hose last week. Although we had checked the distributor cap, I wouldn't have thought of the module if someone on one of the forums (fora?) hadn't mentioned it. An hour with a hair dryer and all original parts are working again.
