Default Leg room?

As much as I love my disco 2, my biggest complaint is that I don't have enough leg room. Just an extra inch or 2 would be huge. Suggestions? I've googled this and all I could find was expired links.

I am going to work on a solution to this because I have the same issue. At 6'4'', it's mighty cramped. I'll keep you posted.

6'1". After about 1 hour of driving my right leg hurts a bit.

Not enough to look into it further. Interested if there are any 'stops' to move back a bit.

I took some seats out of a parts Rover a few weeks ago and specifically looked at the base to determine whether I could scoot the seat back. It would require some new kind of base or serious fab work.

Well, it's enough of a pain in the *** to me, for me to break out the plasma cutter and welder to do so. The carpet is going to be ripped out anyway and replaced with a thick coat of Rhino lining. I have learned quickly that a Land Rover owner will never have idle hands.

I wonder if it would be possible to just make steel brackets which bolt into the current mounts in the floor and then have new mounts which are placed a couple inches farther back? That way it wouldn't require actual floor modification but you could still get that precious leg room. At 6'2" with less than great knees, I feel your pain.

I'm only 5'10.75" and I often wonder what would happen to my knees if I came to an abrupt stop. Probably a Bahama beige plastic knee replacement.

I'm in the same boat. It's tight at being 5'10". I can't image how you 6' plus guys do it.
