Default Let it be known....

In case any of you ever end up with my 2000 DII, I'm having some major overhaulage done as preventative maintenance at 81,000 miles.

New head gaskets with a complete valve job, new fluid and filters from front to back, plugs and wires, new pads and rotors all the way around, new t-case rear seal, rebuild front drive shaft, and it needed a new radiator.

In January I'll be having 3 bad actuators replaced, new hinges for the back door installed, new tires, and the headliner re-attached in the corner that it's coming down in.

After this, it'll be perfect and I can focus on doing the same to the 2004.

I hope everything has been going well for you guys.

Pat

You are both insane. Rovers do not need valve jobs normally till over 200,000 miles. Why all new brakes, are your rotors warped, what are you planning on replacing them with?

My Rotors weren't warped. I'm replacing them with "the nicest brakes you [the new shop I found in C-Springs] can get".

Valve job came with the head service. Now I won't have to do it until 280,000.

=) =)
