Let's talk OBD
Friend of mine traded his Snap-On Solus for the Versus.
It checked everything on my D2 a few weeks ago.
I don't know if it'll program keys or not though.
My Nanocom will, but it's not set up yet as my D2 hasn't ran since the rebuild yet(which is why he brought me the Versus).

why not? You can add other makes for $60.
what would you recommend?
I have a solus pro but it sucks.
I have yet to use it, as my D2 has given me several issues since getting the Nancom.
But, it IS Land Rover only.
It will do everything that you can possibly do with a D2 ecu.
I had a Hawkeye originally, and used it to change several things, like turn off the factory alarm.
Hawkeye claimed that it would program keys, but in reality, it would not. So, I returned the Hawkeye and bought the Nanocom.
The Hawkeye was good to go out of the box.
The Nanocom needs files downloaded from their site, so it must be set up(stupid as far as I'm concernced), but, after much reading, it will do everything needed.
I want to program some keys once I get this pos running again, and considering a dealer would charge as much or more than the cost of the Nanocom, I bit the bullet and bought one...yay.
I know Extinct needs to program some keys, and I'll be glad to let him use it(he's close by), but I have to get mine to crank so I can set the Nancom up for the first time.
After that, I'll help anyone else I can with it.
I'm in south central Va.

Everything I have read says I do.
Regardless, it does, as well as abs and all other LR codes and settings.
I have to have an obd2 that does everything on the D2 anyway, and the Nanocom can.
It hurt paying that much, but it's done now.

If i could have justified the cost I would have gotten a Nanocom over the Foxwell, but it was just too much money for features that I would not likley use. But having borrowed one they really can do a lot of stuff the other don't
