license plate holder screw

Default license plate holder screw

Good afternoon , I was changing the plates andbroke one of the plastic screws off. Before Itry to forcea crew into it, does anybody know if this a screw size?I would like to put Stainlees steel screws intothe holders , So I wont have this problemanymore

Ok, now I assume you have a D2. Not sure.

When you said plastic, I thought you may have a D1. You can remove 1 screw under the holder, and it all pops out. Then the plate attaches to the holder with whatever scres and boltsyou choose.

Didn't know D2's had plastic bolts.

its a 2003 D2,Cold weather and age must have taken its toll on it as the head busted right off , probally over torqued over the years
