Default lift issues

I'm sure there's no single answer to this question, but wondering what issues I might run into going with a bigger lift. I have 2" springs(bearmach) with +2" shocks(pro-comps). I have had no clearance or driveline issues as of yet, but am thinking of adding a 1" or 1-1/2" spring spacer. Now I've seen driveshaft spacers, swaybar drop brackets, etc. Are these for bigger lifts, or might I need them?

And can someone tell me what the round, flat disk thingy with the cable on the backside of the front axle is? Dosnt look like it does anything

That is a harmonic balancer designed to take some drive line vibration away, don't remove it.
As for the lift, you have have a lot more stable lift going to a 3" RTE and selling your old stuff.
Also, seriously consider getting rid of those shocks, they are about the worst performing shock you can drop on a Disco.
Once you start getting into the 3" range, you will be needing to look at replacing your drive shafts.
Let us know what you do.

Thanks Mike, The reason I went with that kit was longer travel shocks. Does anyone else make them?

I haven't had any ride/stability issues, but I was not happy when I put my springs on. I don't think I got a full 2" out of them, as a matter of fact the drivers front stock spring was taller than the "lift" spring. By a good inch or two. Shoulda took some pre-height measurements to verify(oops). But I realize the lift comes from spring rate, not height(or at least thats what I tell myself).

www.rovertym.com

They sell some good lifts, Im currently waiting for my STE 2" lift to ship from them.

When you get to 3" you need to install new driveshafts, And those cost a little bit, And thats on top of the 1385+ to lift it 3" from rovertym.

I suggest OME and RTE for springs and shocks.
