Default Lifting disco II

I have a question I have not seen addressed on here. If I lift my 2000 disco II 2 -inches do I not need to recalibrate the speedometer and change gears in the differentials?

Does anybody know anything about this. Or do you just do the lift with the kit and not bother with the other stuff.

Thanks,
Joe

If you are just lifting the truck with new coils then no.
BUT if you change tires to a larger diameter then things can get affected.

Have a look here to compare different tire sizes and see the potential Speedo Error.

Speedo is electronic in these I believe. Never heard of anyone recalibrating after doing tires.

Gears are ok up to 33" tires, even that is a bit of a stretch. If you go bigger than 33, you'll have to change the gears in both diffs

Somebody should have told my DII that it was off after I put bigger tires on it.
