Default lifting w/ace and sls

How hard is it to lift a disco 2 w/ace and sls? I'd like to add 2 to 2.5 inches and keep the ace and sls functional. Is it possible and if so what do I need? I assume the bags will need spacers or something?

I can comment on the SLS. You dont need spacers just trick the height sensors on the rear air bags by installing a 1" on center metal pipe strap. That will raise your rear about 1". I installed a OME 2" lift with SLS on my 2003 HSE. Has worked great for over 2 years now. I'll take a picture for you. I think you are fine on the ACE too, but some else can chime in on that one.

Yes you can lift that truck, close to 3"s with out any issues.
As far as the SLS goes, you don't want to just mess with the height sensors, cause fooling them means you get a harder ride with more air pressure in the bags. You want to go to RTE or Luck 8 and buy one of the height spaced and the adjusters and set your height to match your new front coils.
Here is a side shot of mine with a near 3" lift using the SLS spaces and adjusters.

Thats good to know Mike. I thought my ride felt firmer. But I do like it. Guess I will pick up a set of spacers and remove my hieght sensor spacers and see if I need to add a 1" spacer in the rear SLS springs. Your truck looks super tall with that 3" lift.

Thanks, that is just what I was looking for Mike. I was hoping this was doable without losing sls and ace.

If you get a spacer for the airbags then you will need to raise the sensor height as well so it will match, otherwise it will try to stay lower than it should with the new spacer. I think when you buy the spacers it will come with the proper sensor adjusters as well.

So I have the height spacer on the sensors now. If I add the 1" spacer under the airbag i will probably be fine.
