Lighting for off road bumper ??
To anyone running this off road bumper, what if any lights did you add.
Since there is an additional hole next to the spot where the recovery shackles go, I wanted to utilize the area for a driving or fog light.
No luck finding a 35mm off road light so I looked at some surface mounts and these plastic angle mounts.

I’m thinking that even with this 15 degrees of correction, the lights would still be pointing off to the sides.
Post up what you have so we can see.

I’m still working on a fabrication plan in my head. Lol. My immediate task is to replace the head gaskets as I have water dripping off the bottom of the bell housing. It’s either the head or the valley pan. In any event, its getting gaskets just so I will know its been done.

Sorry guys, got caught up with my son getting P0171, P0174, P0128, U0167 U0151, P0513 P0340 and P0345 codes.
BATTERY!!!
I will try to get you some Hi-Res pics tomorrow.
Visibility? Amazing, the bumper pitches slightly outward, so I get GREAT side visibility. This bad boys are BRIGHT. I had to tell my daughter not to run them when she is approaching someone.

If you're going to make your own skidplate that might work, but those supports are normally very weak by now due to age/rust. If you're going to make your own skidplate then I'd just use it as a reference for some new supports. The plastic drip pan has been said by some to lower the temps a few degree's but I've never seen any difference on or off and where I live in SETX. Just use a 99-02 Fan Blade or the Dorman 620-112 Fan Blade with a HD Fan Clutch and you will be fine regardless of the drip pan being on/off.
Dunno what the time/material would cost for a custom skid, but I paid around 200.00 shipped for my TF Front skid and the fit/finish is fantastic. Maybe took me 10min to install. It's the newer model that is angled to match their front bumper vs the older version that was meant to go with the OEM bumper.

Yup, that would be fine. I see you are in North Georgia. My son/family go up to Clayton, Helen and Cleveland areas at least a couple times a year for trout fishing. Where are you located?
