Default Lights - rear and dashboard

Having major issues finding the reason(s) why both the dash and rear running lights will not work on my 98 Disco. Tried checking every fuse (twice) replaced the Headlight switch and changed out blubs, but still no luck. Any suggestions? Is there a relay I'm missing, fuseable link or common short location?

if you have tow hitch electrics, Disconnect that and see if that fixes it, its quite a "common" cause if the hitch electrics get corroded / dirty, they mess up all sorts

I'm having the exact same problem and can't find the fix. It started as the dash lights not working with lights in the full on position (they worked one click up for running) but now it's nothing. Been pulled over twice for no running tail lights. Hard to drive with no friggin dash lights either.

I thought it may be SOMETHING in the steering column - because they came back on ONCE when I hit the blinker, although it may have been consequence. Next time I flipped them on, nothing.

Soon as I get my other car back from the paint booth I'm going to tear this thing apart and figure it out.
