It is under the right rear wheel well along the frame. Inline filter with two nuts that loosen the line and a bolt that secures the filter to vehicle. The hard part is getting the metal band that holds on the filter to the veh ( via a nut you loosen) loose enough to pull out the old filter. Loosen nut as much as you can then twist the filter working it free. Not a bad project filter available at napa if you are in the states.

yea, taking the pass. rear wheel off helps out a lot. Filter is avail at the normal places (autozone, napa, checker). As for spark plugs the parts store can look up the ones you need, stay away from the 4 tiped ones, people have problems with these in the disco, (although some don't), Just buy a good set or call AB and order them, can't really go wrong there.

Yep, removing the wheel would save time as it is a mild pain in the **** doing it with the wheel on due to clearance to wrench. I did it the hard way this time, but will take wheel off when I cahnge it next time. Running decent fuel, how many miles should I change it at? 10k? 20k?
