Default Location of "open door" indicator?

Gentlemen:

I have looked up and down my door to try and find the switch that tells the dome light to come on when open. Interestingly, it only works when it rains, so I have been told that the switch may be sticking and to lubricate it. However, I can't seem to find it. Is it in the door? What does it look like? Pics maybe?

As you can tell, I am a new DISO II owner. Any help would be great!

Thank you.

I believe it the switches are integral part of each door regulator.

On a DII there are part of the door latch.
On a DI they are on the door panel on the truck and work like the door switch on your fridge.

Take a spray can of silicon spray and lube all of your door latches and hinges and see if that helps.
That will clean and lube them.

I'm curious, not knowing exactly how this circuit works so I'm a bit confused as to why spraying the latches & hinges with silicon would allow the circuit to complete itself.
