Default Locking Console for pistol

I have looked around the net and on the forums, but haven't been able to locate anything on a lockable console. If I ever have to leave my gun in my D2 I'd like to lock it up for added security. Does anyone know of any consoles that work with the D2? Tuffy has some basic ones, but not sure if any would fit. Anyone have a way to "secure" their pistol in their LR that would work?

Thanks!

Check out the "guns and rovers" forum. They deal mostly with series rovers, but someone on there may have an idea.

The closest thing i could think of would be a Gun Vault, however where you would mount it would be tricky. since the console of a D2 is a single long piece that houses the E-brake, 4WD, and gear shift housing. So i dont know about replacing the console.

I use the NV200 Nano-Vault by GunVault to hold a 9mm Walther under my seat in my jeep. I haven't checked to see if it'd fit under the seat in my Rover (factory amp, power motors etc) But maybe one of their products you could tailor for your application.

The nano is pretty small and would be limited to small composite pistols like the Walther P-series, Berreta PX4, or a Sig Sauer P220
