Default Long term storage

I got back a truck that my daughter had drove for 3 years. It's a real cherry one and don't want to sell it so thought I would stick it in the barn for a decade or 2. I thought I would just tarp it, put in av gas, and boost it up on blocks. I'm not worried about mice because I have a small army of cats.

Any other ideas?

I'd drive it... Having it sit in a barn for 20 years is worse than putting a couple thousand miles on it every year. I doubt these are going to go as high as RRC or Defenders as far as value.

20 years from now you're going to have a very nice condition truck that nobody wants or makes parts for, and if the trend of areas banning the sale of petrol cars expands to a ban on the use of cars with obsolete emissions controls, may very well be illegal to use. Why bother?

I would oil the crap out of it. Like a good rust proofing spray all over
will keep hoses fittings electrical and among other items from becoming dry and brittle
