Default Longer brake lines needed?

I do not currently have a lift. Thinking of eventually getting a 2" lift. I am replacing all brakes lines now, should I (can I) buy the longer brake lines now? Will they fit even though the rig isn't lifted yet?

So roversnorth sells 4 inch extended:

and atlantic british sells 2 inch extended:

Is one of these overkill? (or perhaps is one underkill? )

For the money, I'd buy the +4" Goodridge lines from RN. No brainer. In fact, I may do just that.

With a 2" lift you don't necessary have to replace the brake lines.

I just installed a 3" lift and still have the stock lines, but they're pretty much at their limit with my 3" lift, and so I'm getting extended lines too. With a 2" lift this isn't something that you need to do immediately.

FWIW, Lucky8 also has Goodridge extended brake lines for the same price as Rovers North.
