Default Looking for a bit bigger than 255/65/16

I have a set of 255/65/16 a/t on the disco and I put a 2" lift on it after so I wned to go with more of a bigger tire but not much taller, more wide. Any suggestions? Im going to go with a m/t this time. Thanks

265/75/16 is what I run but I wish I had gone 255 instead.

Wider tires have their place, but narrower tires are best in more situations. And they are easier to fit usually.

i've been using this Tire Sizes to get a more accurate o.a. dia. to specific tires in their metric conversions. because 285/75 is not always an exact 75% of 285, depending on the manufacturer

Default I run 265/75R16...

...on a 2" lift. I think they look really good, and haven't had any problems with rubbing, etc. to date. I can pits a picture if you'd like...

265/75/16 Kenda Klever Mud Tires with spacers (to clear control arms at full lock) and 2" MD Terrafirma lift. Had to trim rear wheel arches and front bumper for clearance/approach.

265/75R16 is your tire of choice. I personally prefer BFG A/T KO. I've had nothing but a good experience with them. With a 2 inch lift you could probably stick some 255/85R16 under there as well.

255/70-16's will be about an inch taller than the 255/65-16's stock size. About 30"

235/85 would be the best

but if you want wider(not better) 265/75 as others have noted.
