but if you want wider(not better) 265/75 as others have noted.
Yeah, I do easy off-roading, and wanted the look as much as anything.

265s look perfect with a 2" lift. They're not as tall as the 235/85s but they look correct. I ran them for a while in Km2s before going to the 255/85s, but I still run 265/75 studded snows during the winter. Definitely looks pretty goofy with the 3.5" lift.

I'm running 235/85 Kenda Klevers and they do pretty well on dirt, rocks, and sand. Hasn't rained in California this winter so no mud to test yet. I was afraid a thinner tire would hurt my traction and off road ability but they are actually a lot easier to navigate into the proper line on obstacles and trails and seem to grip just as hard as my tires on my other rig which are 3.5" wider.

The tall narrow are generally much better for mud. I like to play in the snow and sand, so these fit me better.

Depends on the snow. For light snow narrow is best, if you want to go above the snow wider is better. Wider is always better on sand of course

I like the DEEP snow. Shallow has never been an issue for me.
