Sorry if i seem to be hijacking this thread.
At what point should I consider getting this done ---> (The front driveshaft MUST be rebuilt using greasable u-joints, if you dont you WILL be buying a new transmission. ($7,000))

60K service or when it fails? Where can i purchase the greasable u-joints? thanks for all help..

Get this done yesterday!!
If you are doing the work yourself you can buy the u-joints and centering ball kit at NAPA.
