Default Loose bolts?

Hey Guys,

So Ive had a leaky rear differential on my 01 Disco for quite a while now. Anyway, i went under the car to change out the diff fluid and I checked the outer bolts to the diff to see if they needed tightening and they were relatively loose. Is this normal? Does anyone know the torque specs for these? I dont want to over tighten but I hand tightened them with a small ratchet.

Gentlemen,

Nevermind. I was able to find a similar thread to this ( https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...dentify-23644/ ). It appears that other Disco 2 owners have had similar issues. Per the D2 workshop manual the differential axle casing's 10 bolts need to be torqued to 55nm or 41lbf.ft
