Hello folks, new member to the land rover club. Have an 01 SE with 79k on the clock. Picked it up a few nights ago and on the third night as Im pulling into the garage, the 3 amigos flash on. Since then its very intermitent. Sometimes on a drive it'll pop up, sometimes it wont. Does anyone have a scanner in Northern NJ close to lyndhurst that i can use to pull the codes. Thank You in advance

Have you considered just investing in a scanner yourself? There's a group buy going on now for $159 each. You most likely are going to need it more than once. Probably more than 10 times actually if you plan on keeping your Disco past the 100k mark.

At any rate, I'll take a highly unethical stab and say your issue is your ABS modulator. Fairly easy afternoon fix with about $10-20 in parts (at most). There's more detail on this fix in the sticky at the top of the thread list...but I don't suggest fixing anything until you get a scan.

 

im in westchester but like tom said just buy one yourself if you are planning on keeping the truck. you will need it.
