Tres Amigos plus Parking
Hey all,
Just want to say this is a great forum and and have checked it out for the last few years but this is my first post. So if you noticed the title, the three amigos came on as well as the red brake light on my 03 Disco.
First a little background,
I took it a local import garage to have the codes read. Ive taken the trunk there to get my yearly NYS inspections and had my headlight switch replaced there. A friend of mine had his head gaskets replaced on his 04 there as well so Im pretty confident in the shop. My last resort is taking to the LR dealer.
Anyways back to the problem.. The codes on the shop bill that were read was 137 and 190. I emailed the owner today to ask him what they used to read but they did reset so I imagine they have a T4 or something? It just came back on after my second time driving which is apparent in the algorithm I guess.
Code 137 seems like its a low voltage reading on the rear O2 Sensor and I could not find 190 but came across 1590 on other forums. So I also asked him about this number. It only cost me $43 dollars so worst case im out that. Replacing the sensor an easy fix?
Anybody have any ideas or things I can check before sending it back.
Brake fluid looks to be exactly half way be between min and max.. It was the only thing I did not flush myself (diff, tranny fluid and filter, and transfer case) when I bought the trunk used though im thinking its time now. I was hesitant to replace the ABS modulator or shuttle valve switch before getting a little more feedback. Though Ive come across a few for less then 200 bucks on Ebay.
Ive hard braked a few times and brakes seem to be fine. I hear no squealing or feel any warping. They recently passed inspection less then a month ago before the lights came on so im not sure if they need to be replaced. Ive put about 15K on the trunk since I bought 2 1/2 years ago (not my everyday driver). Maybe should be replaced regardless? AB sells rotor and pad kit for all for 299 seems decent to me?
Much appreciated, Ron

Mine are also on, ended up being a front wheel bearing, it also rubbed a hole in the bottom of the abs sensor. After I changed the bearing the lights are still on, but I think the sensor is bad, so I have one on the way.
